The Run Club Founder's Little Birthday Bash ππΈ
Some birthdays deserve a little more than cake and candles.
This year, we celebrated the best way we know how: gathering the crew, loading up a box of disposable cameras, lacing everyone into fresh Merrell Agility Peak 6s, and heading out for an 8km loop across Bristol's trails.
No big plans. No pressure. Just an evening spent doing what we love mostβrunning together.
The route wasn't anything complicated. A few familiar paths, plenty of conversation, a bagel stop along the way, and a handful of disposable cameras capturing everything as it happened. No perfectly curated shots. No polished content. Just real moments, real people, and the kind of evening that reminds you why running is so much more than the miles.
There's something about disposable film that suits days like these. The grain, the surprises, the moments you didn't realise were worth capturing until the photos come back. Some runs just deserve to look a little grainy.
A huge thank you to @merrelluk for helping make it all happen and for sending over a stack of Agility Peak 6s for the crew. Being able to share the birthday treats, get everyone in fresh shoes, and spend the evening on the trails together made it a pretty special one.
Because at the end of the day, the best birthdays aren't about getting olderβthey're about the people you get to share the miles with.
Perfect birthday. πππΈπββοΈ
